This is a full workplace course that follows content guidelines for workplace first aid.
Our Basic Plus program has been a popular course selection for those who want to meet their first aid responsibilities without the stress of any formal assessments. Topics covered are the same as our workplace course which means this program still meets the requirements of Worksafe NZ as published in their good practice guide for first aid in workplaces.

This course is ideal for those who have access to emergency oxygen in the workplace and want training in it’s use and safe practices. Students are taught to recognise emergencies where emergency oxygen will be beneficial, to provide emergency oxygen to both breathing and non-breathing patients, to understand the hazards associated with oxygen use and to practice safe handling techniques.

It is recommended that you refresh your first aid training every two years. If your certificate was issued more than 2 years and 3 months ago, you will need to complete a full course.
