The Garmin Descent T2 dive transmitter is a pressure sensor and transceiver that is compatible with the Garmin Descent MK2i and MK3i dive computers. It is waterproof to a depth of 200 meters and has a battery life of up to 100 hours. The T2 has a pressure transmission range of 10 meters and a depth rating of 200 meters.
The T2 has enhanced SubWave sonar technology that allows users to monitor up to eight tanks underwater. It can display air pressure, depth, use rate, and time remaining for multiple types of diving. The T2 can also communicate with other networked buddies wearing their Descent Mk3i dive computers using preformatted messages.
